HexCon 1.0 (for Windows)
A small handy tool to convert between Decimal-Hex-Binary
Roman Black - May 2004 - web Aug 2006.

What is it?

HexCon 1.0 is a small fast program, that can convert between any of the 3 standard integers used in computer programming. It also has lists of keyboard codes.

You can enter (or modify) data in any box.

HexCon replaces the old-dos based hex converter I wrote about 14 years ago. During the rewrite I added lists of PC keyboard codes; ascii, extended and also keyboard hardware scan codes and Windows key constants which save looking them up in a book all the time.

HexCon is very quick to start up when you need a conversion, and can be configured to start up with your preferences as defaults.

Download it!

HexCon 1.0 works with Win95, Win98 and WinXP.

It is Hippyware which means you can use it for free for personal or corporate use and you only pay me IF you choose. Payment is $10 USD or a postcard etc.

The ZIP file below contains just the HexCon.EXE file, which is all you need.
